I hope all of you are having a wonderful day. I am looking outside at the clouds and rain here in South Carolina and thinking it is a good day to curl up with a book or some crochet. I may do both. It depends on what the ADHD will tolerate. There is a nationwide shortage on medications for ADHD right now, so we are just out here doing Mach 3 with our hair on fire wondering where we put our glasses and what that beeping sound is.
Seriously, taking care of your mental health is a big deal. If you have access to medications and resources, make use of them. Take care of yourself. After a couple of months on medication, being without it now is very difficult. Besides the obvious lack of focus, it also messes with my sleep pattern. Life is so much harder when you just randomly need a nap halfway through your day, and again a couple of hours later because you just feel frazzled.
But I am trying to get this train back on the tracks. I am going to push back the projected release date for my book to February 2023 so I have some time to hopefully find a supplier of my medication. In the meantime, I am still here. I am writing. Take time to be kind to yourselves and to others. Party on.
